Hailey Bieber’s rhode skin team, really were in the lab for this one. The texture of the rhode peptide glazing fluid is more cream like than a typical serum in your cabinet.

Which lends itself super well to a shorter routine. In which the next step after this essence is just moisturizer or sunscreen. Also a good time to use 2 pumps for your shorter routine days.

The texture also lends itself well to a nice cooling sensation during warmer weather. The creaminess of the product brings a hydrating layer that doesn’t go completely greasy or evaporate. If you get distracted mid routines sometimes. Like me.

Packaging

I’m a huge fan of the top of this packaging. Super easy to open with wet or sudsy hands. Note: There has been in an update in their packaging according to the product listing. Specifically, updating the pump.

The original pump can be a little cumbersome to get a lot of product out at once. But, I never found this to be a huge issue. Towards the end of the bottle I do believe I wasn’t able to get out every single drop though.

The aesthetics of the packaging are A+. Of course. Looking at her on my skin care shelf made it so easy to use daily. Who doesn’t love looking at rhode skin on their skincare shelfie?

Price Point

At $32 for 1.7 fluid ounces/50mL the rhode skin peptide glazing fluid comes out mid range. Leaning towards the higher end of mid range price points. Even so, a good serum or essence should last at least a few months. Considering the formula that still has my mind in absolute sensation.

It is worth the price. This serum lasted me about 4-5 months with regular use. Of course, accounting for my own inconsistency (ahem— laziness) at times. If you’re applying twice a day, consistently, expect for it to last at least a solid 3 months.

This can even work in a routine as the singular serum or essence. The skin care order being cleanser, toner, peptide glazing fluid, then moisturizer. Or sunscreen during the day.

Emotional Takeaway

This essence or cream like serum situation. Is something to be experienced at least once. It’s such a beautiful texture that even in the middle of my routine. I’m like yes. This is zen, a true happy place. Using rhode skin products is part of being invited to the cool girls club. You don’t get her, until you take a seat at the table.

The peptide glazing fluid really made me feel like a model off duty. Even when the most I could manage was a super quick routine with just this for a little something extra.
