Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount. Ceramide NP (formerly known as Ceramide 3) is one of the skin's naturally occurring lipids. Ceramide NP is usually sourced from plants (like soybean or rice bran), or produced synthetically. Ethylhexylglycerin is created from glycerin. Sodium Phytate is the synthetic salt form of phytic acid. Phytic acid is an antioxidant and can be found in plant seeds. Sodium Phytate is a chelating agent. Chelating agents help pr
